    Fitoor-E-Kashmir

Kashmir is a region located in the northernmost part of the Indian subcontinent, bordered by Pakistan, India, and China. The region is known for its stunning natural beauty, including snow-capped mountains, sparkling lakes, lush valleys, and rolling meadows. The Kashmir Valley is the most famous tourist destination in the region, with attractions like the Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens, and Shankaracharya Temple. The valley is also known for its traditional houseboats, or shikaras, which offer a unique and peaceful way to explore the surrounding waterways. Kashmir is also a popular destination for adventure seekers, with opportunities for hiking, trekking, skiing, and mountaineering in the surrounding mountains. The region's cuisine is a blend of Indian, Persian, and Central Asian influences, featuring dishes like Rogan Gosh, Gushtaba, and Kashmiri Pulao. However, the region has been a subject of dispute between India and Pakistan since the two countries gained independence in 1947. The conflict has had an impact on tourism in the region, with periodic periods of unrest and violence leading to travel advisories and a decline in visitor numbers. Despite this, the region remains a popular destination for those seeking natural beauty, adventure, and cultural experiences.
